頑健な性能評価モデルを開発するため、NUMO-JAEAの共同プロジェクトの一環として、ガラスの性能および処分環境条件におけるガラスの溶解/変質プロセスに関する基盤情報の整備を進めている。基盤情報整備のための反復を伴う作業プロセスは、(1)ガラス固化体の溶解に影響する現象等に関する現時点での知見の整理、(2)知見の整理結果を踏まえたガラス固化体溶解のシナリオの作成、(3)概念モデルの作成、(4)関連プロセスの相対的重要度および不確実性を評価するための感度解析、(5)基盤情報の改善に向けた課題の検討、の5つの段階からなる。発表では、このタスクの現状について紹介する。

Surface alternations of Cr $_{2}$ O $_{3}$ -CoO-Al $_{2}$ O $_{3}$ -doped Iron-Phosphate Glasses containing simulated fission products on heating after water immersion test are investigated. Iron-phosphate glasses doped with Cr $_{2}$ O $_{3}$ -CoO-Al $_{2}$ O $_{3}$ show quite high chemical durability. Valences of iron and doped Chromium ions have been found to play important roles to form water-resistant glass surface from the analysis of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
